Andy’s celebrates 50 years of business! In 1966 Andrew B. Manitowabi pursued the idea of opening a gas station, laundromat and convenience store for Wikwemikong. With the help of his family he started his business known as Andy’s. The store was located at the homestead by Wikwemikong Holy Cross Mission Church, with one gas pump, oil deliveries, a couple washers and dryers, and a few convenience store items. In 1980 Andy’s was relocated to where it is today, and it continued to grow with the community. A larger laundromat was built, along with a larger grocery store. F.
