Billy Bishop Home: Museum, Archives & National Historic Site

Billy Bishop Home was built in 1884 and showcases the Bishop family history.  It is also the boyhood home of William Avery “Billy” Bishop, the charismatic hero of the Great War.  An adventurous, mischievous and restless spirit, Billy was driven to be the best in all he did.
Special programming includes, but is not limited to: Victorian Teas (summer and Christmas); Veterans' Commemoration ceremonies; ghost walks; summer children’s programs; Trivia Night; Victorian Christmas; and Bringing the Museum to You.
Visit us to view ever changing exhibits on Victorian Life, the Bishop Family, Billy Bishop, and on the Canadian experience during conflicts of the past.  Bring a picnic and enjoy it on the beautiful grounds of the Museum.  Discover the Home and discover the Hero.
